Did Mahinda Rajapakse’s son Namal Rajapakse have contacts with Tamil Eelam Liberation tigers’ movement representative, states Sarath Sector.

Two important accusations were submitted in today’s Sri Lankan election phase. The first allegation was made by Wimal Weerawansa the supporter of Mahinda Rajapakse at a media briefing held yesterday in Colombo which was organized by the National Freedom Front.
He said, his parliament member Mohamed Muzamil, was bribed for three billion rupees to support Presidential Candidate Sarath Fonseka and out of this 30 million rupees was given day before yesterday from a hotel located at Wellawatha. Wimal Weerawansa showed a box containing the cash at the press conference and demonstrated the lump of cash to those present. He said such action was taken by them to expose about Sarath Fonseka to the public, because he is campaigning to introduce an administration without corruption.
Parliament Member Mohamed Muzammil informed that United National Party Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe, Treasurer Malik Samarawickrama, and Parliament Member Ravi Karunanayake had discussions with him, and on this regard Muzamil informed, he has in possession the audio and video images in regard to this incident. The scenes were visually shown that two people were handing over cash to Muzamil. But such allegations are denied by United National Party Parliament Member Ravi Karunanayake. He said cash transactions were not done with Muzammil and such activities were not initiated to call him to their side. Meanwhile Sarath Fonseka’s Media division coordinator and Sri Lanka Freedom Party Peoples Division Leader Mangala Samaraweera and JVP Parliament Member Anurakumara Tissanayake called for a media briefing yesterday in Colombo and submitted accusations about President’s son Namal Rajapakse. They showed a photograph of Namal Rajapakse with Emilkanthan and they said, Emilkanthan is now holding the responsibilities of arrested K.P.Pathamanathan who was one of the leaders of Tamil Eelam liberation tiger movement .
In regard to this, Mangala Samaraweera stated, billion of rupees are spend through the movement “Youths of Tomorrow” originated by Namal Rajapakse son of Mahinda Rajapakse to his father’s election campaigns and he queried from where such amount of finances are getting accumulated to the movement. He further queried, what is the contact Namal Rajapakse has with Elikanthan to pose beside him in the photograph. In the meantime Anurakumara Tissanayake alleged the money which was confiscated from the Tamil Eelam Liberation tigers are wasted unnecessary for election campaigns.
